Day 1 Lamu
A scheduled flight takes you to Manda Island, where a dhow transfer takes you across the waterway to lamu Island. Lamu is one of Kenya’s oldest towns and a perfect place to explore historical ruins and relax on secluded beaches. The afternoon is at leisure. Over night stay at the New lamu Palace Hotel.
Day 2 Lamu
A full day at leisure to explore the island. Little has changed in lamu in the last century. Be sure to stop atone of Lamu’s 20 mosques to admire the ornate and intricate woodwork. Good shopping includes local baskets and mats.
Day 3 Lamu - Depart
A dhow transfer takes you back to Manda Island for the return flight to Mombasa or nairobi.
