DAY 1: ENTEBBE - KAMPALA (47 KMS) Meet and greet at Entebbe International Airport by Crystal Guide who will warmly welcome you and facilitate seamless arrival formalities. Afterwards transfer to your hotel. You will be briefed about your safari. Depending on the time of arrival you are advised to have money changed this day. Overnight at Hotel Africana. (BB)
DAY 2: KAMPALA - BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK (527 KMS) After breakfast, transfer south wards to Bwindi Impenetrable forest. You will have a stopover at the Equator where you will have an opportunity to stand in 2 hemispheres at the same time and take some photos, then another stop over for lunch in Mbarara. Drive through the Switzerland of Africa area known as the Kigezi Highlands with its terraced hillside and winding roads to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. With all the volcanic activity in this area the scenic beauty is breathtaking. Overnight at Gorilla Safari lodge. FB
DAY 3: BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK Early morning entry into the spectacular Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. It offers a dramatic, steeply forested landscape and is incredibly dense, but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. This park is best known for the fascinating gorillas. The thrill of spending time and observing the gorillas is a rare, moving, awesome and exciting adventure. There is always a ranger guide to interpret the Fauna and the Flora. The gorilla is a shy and peaceful animal and it is an unforgettable experience to watch and photograph them as they interact. After a strenuous morning it would be good to relax at the lodge. DAY 4: BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK - ISHASHA SECTOR (250KMS) Have your breakfast and later transfer to the Ishasha Plains in search of the Tree Climbing Lions and other wildlife. This is a more deserted section of the park but is home to over 40 tree climbing lions, lots of elephants, antelopes, buffaloes, birds, some monkeys and baboons and more. Overnight at Ishasha Jungle Lodge. FB
DAY 5: ISHASHA SECTOR –KIBALE NATIONAL PARK (260 KMS) Have an early breakfast and set off for Kibale national park. Enjoy the beautiful scenery of the foothills of Mt Rwenzori as you follow its mystical ranges .Continue to Fort portal arriving in kibale in time for lunch. In the afternoon, you will enter the forest to search for the man’s closest friend. These delightful apes, more closely related to humans than to any other living creature, are tremendous fun to watch as they squabble and play in fruiting trees. The incredibly diverse forest is home to over 13 species of primates including red Colobus monkey, the rare L’Hoest, blue monkey, grey mangabey, black faced vervet monkeys, baboons and also bush babies swinging through the dense forests Overnight at Crater Safari lodge .FB
DAY 6: DEPARTURE After breakfast, transfer back to Kampala and continue to the airport for your flight.
